Together with Mexico

[ENGLISH]
Yesterday night, some mexicans gathered together to watch the match against Iran in a bar in Fukuoka City. Carolina and me went together to join them. After getting lost in the Fukuoka subway, we met Manuel for the first time. He also writes a blog. Eleazar and Eduardo also where there. So, as this image indicates, we where a crowd. Also Gilberto from Honduras joined us.

As you may know, Oswaldo Sanchez, de goal keeper of the mexican team lost his father some days ago and the Iran team was very kind to cheer him up before the match. All the iranian I have met are also kind. Oswaldo made some very good saves. At the first half we where all nervius because the match was very even. Ball possession was 50%-50%. But at the end we celebrated the victory.

After this Caro-chan and me took the first train back to our village at 4.40am and arrived around 5.50am. We hope to do this many times, to watch the mexican team against portugal, and the next rounds, quarterfinal, semifinal... an why not? the final!

Hey Carlos,

I don't know you but procrastinating while I should be studying has encouraged me to click on your blog on nomadlife. It's quite interesting! As someone who studies both Japanese and Spanish (with a keen interest in futbol), I find your blog entries a very worthwhile read.

Keep it up and hope you don't mind if I drop by from time to time.

A fellow nomad,
Alex (from Melbourne, Australia)
