Hace poco recordaba con mis compañeros del lab las técnicas especiales de esta serie (super campeones). Qué tal el tiro del tigre?, o mejor aún, las técnicas de los gemelos Kazuo y Mazao, quienes hacian equipo para lanzarse por el aire o apoyados de los postes (que si hicieran eso en la vida real sería tarjeta amarilla). Lo que es una realidad es que este anime logró introducir el futbol a Japón. Aunque el beisbol sigue como su deporte favorito, los jóvenes se intersan más en el soccer. Las espectativas de Japón para este mundia se ven difíciles, estos jugadores crecieron a lado de esta fantasía, de que algún día, Japón será el campeón del mundo.

Some days ago we were remembering about the special techniques in this anime. How about the tiger shot, or better, the special techique of the twins Kazuo and Mazao. They can push each other to high altitudes, and also by using the goal (but it would be against the rules in real soccer). The truth is, that this anime introduced soccer to Japan. Baseball is still the national sport, but young people are now more interested in soccer. It looks difficult to Japan in this world cup, but these players have been raisen with this fantasy of being the world champion.
