happy new year!

i can't believe it, another new year, and in other country. i wonder in which country i will be on next year? some persons have asked me how was it, but actually i stayad at home. i wanted to go to a temple (as for japanese tradition) but it was a little cold and i dont like to be in crowds that much (i am talking about many thousends of people). mm maybe this is not a complaintment, since 2 years ago we "survived" new years eve (silvester) in berlin (much colder and a lot of more people).

by the way, i had some work in the vacation so i didn went anywere except to shimonosoki (at least i went out of the island of kyushu). this place is in the island of honshu (the main island of japan where tokyo and the most important cities are located).

the amazing part is that it is possible to go by walking, not by a bridge, but by a tunnel under the sea. it is only about 700m. of course there is also possible to go by train and ferry, but not every day you can go to other island by under the sea.
