Ashiya beach matsuri(festival)

summer is here and the many fesivals all over japan begin. this saturday we went to ashia, near from here, by car. many people dressed in yukata (japanese summer traditional dress) (including yumi-chan) and there where many places to eat in the street (but some of them a little expensive). we wainted until 8pm when the fireworks began. they where very beutiful.. we watched them for 1:15hrs. we got a sore neck for looking up so much time hehe. after this it was difficult to get back to the car because the streets where full of people trying to get back as well. maybe like in tokyo subway everyday. i will have to go there to see if it is true. i am waiting to next friday when we will see the fireworks at wakamatsu, but that time i will go by train... maybe after this will not be necesary to go to tokyo..
